ICEVI Africa is excited to announce the 2nd ICEVI Africa Conference to be held at the prestigious Emperors Palace Resort, Johannesburg, South Africa, from 28th September to 1st October 2026. The Conference builds on the successes of the 1st ICEVI Africa Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya, in 2023, with the attendance of 430 participants. The 2nd ICEVI Africa Conference is hosted by ICEVI Africa, ICEVI Global, the Gauteng Department of Education and Prinshof School.

The Conference is expected to bring together stakeholders in the education of people with visual impairment, including policy-makers, government departments, bilateral and international agencies, service providers, educators, parents and people with visual impairment, to share, learn and define measures to enhance the quality of education for persons with visual impairment in Africa and around the world.
